Toronto Jazz Festival Toronto 2020

Did you know that the TD Toronto Jazz Festival started back in 1987 as an eight-day showcase of jazz?  In 2020, we will have 10 days of jazz.  TD Toronto Jazz Festival is showcasing some awesome talent again this year.  You have an opportunity to check out Motown legend Smokey Robinson and David Crosby.  They are both scheduled to headline the 34th edition of the TD Toronto Jazz Festival this summer.  In addition, this year’s edition will also feature for example The Roots Trombone Shorty, Femi Kuti, John Scofield, and Dave Holland, Marc Jordan, Barbra Lica, Michael Kaeshammer, Shabaka & The Ancestors and Ana Moura.  The festival takes place in Toronto from June 18-28.

Fun Facts:  Firstly. in 32 years, Toronto Downtown Jazz has presented over 35,000 artists.  Secondly, the festival has offered 3,400 free public events.  Moreover, the festival contributed over $580 million to the GTA economy.  In addition, the festival contributed over 71,000 of volunteer hours.  As a result, it has welcomed over 12 million people to the Festival.

The Festival is endorsed by Toronto City Council, international artists and has been designated as an event of municipal the significance that enhances Canada’s international reputation.
