The High Note

The High Note stars Dakota Johnson (Maggie Sherwood), Tracee Ellis Ross (Grace Davis), Kelvin Harrison Jr. (David Cliff), Zoë Chao (Katie Davis), Ice Cube (Jack Robertson), June Diane Raphael (Gloria), Deniz Akdeniz (Spencer Cliff), Bill Pullman, Eddie Izzard, and Diplo as himself.

Synopsis: Set in the dazzling world of the LA music scene comes the story of Grace Davis, a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights. Maggie is Grace’s overworked personal assistant who’s stuck running errands but still aspires to her childhood dream of becoming a music producer. When Grace’s manager presents her with a choice that could alter the course of her career, Maggie and Grace come up with a plan that could change their lives forever.

What On What’s Good initial thoughts of the movie

I am looking forward to seeing this group together. It should be fun to watch the possible conversations with Dakota Johnson (The Friend), Tracee Ellis Ross (Little), and Ice Cube (Fist Fight).

What On What’s Good initial thoughts of the movie

I am sure this comedy will deliver. David Spade’s (Warning Shot) wit can get anyone smiling. When you add-in Lauren Lapkus (Threedom) to the mix, it should be an enjoyable experience.

A murder mystery you say. I think it will be interesting to watch Issa Rae (Hair Love) & Kumail Nanjiani (Stuber) try to get themselves out of this one.

Synopsis: Screen legend Bruce Willis (Die Hard franchise) drives the action in this gripping home-invasion thriller. After his brother Mathias (Tyler Jon Olson) is mortally wounded in a robbery gone bad, Jamie (Shea Buckner) stalks trauma doctor Rich (Chad Michael Murray, “One Tree Hill“) from the hospital to his home. While holding Rich’s wife and daughter hostage, the unhinged murderer forces Rich to operate on Mathias. But in order for him and his family to survive the night, Rich must team up with his estranged tough-as-nails father, retired sheriff Frank (Willis), in order to gain the upper hand and turn the tables on the criminals.

What On What’s Good initial thoughts of the movie

Looking for action, Bruce Willis is here to save the day. In the last few movies, I noticed how well Willis elevates and promotes others in his movies. I am certainly looking forward to getting to know the other cast members in the film, Chad Michael Murray, Shea Buckner, Tyler Jon Olson, Lydia Hull, Jessica Abrams, Sara Lynn Holbrook, and Jef Holbrook.

What On What’s Good initial thoughts of the movie

Scooby-Doo was originally broadcast on CBS from 1969 to 1976. First off, I must say it’s always fun to see Scooby-Doo and the gang again. Let’s watch as they solve another great mystery and more than likely get involved with supernatural creatures.
