The Invisible Man #theinvisibleman

The Invisible Man stars Elisabeth Moss (Cecilia “Cee” Kass), Aldis Hodge (James Lanier), Storm Reid (Sydney Lanier), Harriet Dyer (Emily Kass), Michael Dorman (Tom Griffin), Oliver Jackson-Cohen (Adrian Griffin)

Synopsis: Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night.  But when her abusive ex commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax.

What On What’s Good May Film initial thoughts

It’s Elisabeth Moss from Us and Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale. This is going to be great.

As their journey to clear their names takes them from one extreme – and hilarious – circumstance to the next. They must figure out how they, and their relationship, can survive the night.

What On What’s Good May Film initial thoughts

A murder mystery you say. I think it will be interesting to watch Issa Rae (Hair Love) & Kumail Nanjiani (Stuber) try to get themselves out of this one.

The Wrong Missy #thewrongmissy

The Wrong Missy stars David Spade (Tim Morris), Lauren Lapkus (Missy), Geoff Pierson, Sarah Chalke, Molly Sims, Nick Swardson as Nate, Jackie Sandler, Chris Witaske as Rich, Roman Reigns

Synopsis

When Tim Morris meets his dream girl and their relationship quickly escalates through texts, he throws caution to the wind and invites her to his company’s corporate retreat on an island resort… However, when a past blind date from hell shows up at the airport for the weekend getaway instead, he learns too late that he’s been texting “The Wrong Missy”.

What On What’s Good May Film initial thoughts

I am sure this comedy will deliver. David Spade’s (Warning Shot) wit can get anyone smiling. When you add-in Lauren Lapkus (Threedom) to the mix, it should be an enjoyable experience.

The Last Dance #thelastdance

The cast will include Chicago Bulls Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Phil Jackson, Toni Kukoč, Steve Kerr and more. NBA players including Patrick Ewing, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, Charles Barkley, and more.  In addition, you will get thoughts from NBA management and media personnel. The director of this project is Jason Hehir with composer Thomas Caffey.

Synopsis

The Last Dance is a sports documentary miniseries about the career of Michael Jordan. The docuseries focus will be on the 1997–98 Chicago Bulls season, Michael Jordan’s final season with the team, however, it will also follow Jordan’s career.  The series will feature footage from a crew that had an all-access pass to the Bulls during the National Basketball Association (NBA) season. ESPN and Netflix work collaboratively on this 10-part miniseries.

What On What’s Good May TV initial thoughts

I have a few questions about how these NBA personalities co-existed.  I’m also interested in learning about Michael Jordan’s switch from the National Basketball Association (NBA) to Major League Baseball (MLB).

Dark Side of the Ring The Final Days of Owen Hart #OwenHart

The cast includes Jim Korderas (WWF ref), the Hart family, Jim Cornette, Jim Ross (announcer), and The Godfather (opponent). Chris Jericho narrates.

Synopsis: Dark Side of the Ring is a television documentary series produced by Vice on TV. The series is about controversial subjects within professional wrestling.
Each episode focusing on a specific event.

What On What’s Good May TV initial thoughts

This is going to be a bit tough to watch. I remember watching the ‘Over the Edge’ pay per view event in Kansas City as a teenager. You heard a promo from Owen Hart than the crew was trying to explain the situation in the ring.  You weren’t quite sure what was going on.
