Interview with actor and director Tazito Garcia
Today on What On What’s Good with Jovin Tardif, I am here with Tazito ‘Taz’ Garcia. He is a Toronto-based multi-award-winning actor and director known for doing his own stunts with an intricate Hong Kong-style flavour. He played Axel in the action-comedy movie First Bust and General Sevchenko in the movie Battlefield: Divided. Taz is also the Vice President at Movie Expo. At the Movie expo, you can connect with industry professionals from around the world. The event will have 30 expert speakers and 20 industry panels. You also have the opportunity to pitch your ideas.
1. Tell us a little about your background?
Former pro soccer & tennis player, that transitioned into the corporate world, teaching world and ended up pursuing my performing passion which is now my career in the entertainment industry.
2. When did you know you wanted to get into the film industry?
At the age of 3
3. What is your favourite fight scene in a movie and why?
That’s a tough question. It depends on a realistic or entertaining element. The end fight in Drunken Master II with Jackie Chan is up there though.
4. What is your dream role in a movie?
An Indiana Jones character
