Movie Review: Prime Video Radioactive

Anyone who loves science and history will simply adore RADIOACTIVE. I’m positive my mother-in-law will enjoy this film. RADIOACTIVE stars Rosamund Pike (GONE GIRL), Sam Riley (MALEFICENT), Anya Taylor-Joy (SPLIT), and Simon Russell Beale (INTO THE WOODS). Available now on Prime Video.  The film is directed by Marjane Satrapi (THE VOICES), screenplay by Jack Thorne (HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD), and based on the book by Lauren Redniss.

RADIOACTIVE Available on Prime Video on July 24 starring Rosamund Pike, Sam Riley, Anya Taylor-Joy and Simon Russell Beale

Review – Radioactive

RADIOACTIVE is the incredible, true story of Marie Skłodowska Curie (Rosamund Pike). The film focuses on her ground-breaking scientific achievements that revolutionized medicine…the discovery of radium and polonium. This changed science forever. Marie was the first female to win the Nobel Prize. Curie is also the first person in history to win the esteemed award twice.  Overall, I thought we learned a great deal about Marie Curie, through Rosamund Pike’s exceptional portrayal of the character.  The best takeaway is that Marie Curie was a woman who didn’t let gender stand in the way of her passion for science.
