Synopsis of the film

The Courier is a true-life spy thriller. It’s about a British businessman who helped MI6 penetrate the Soviet nuclear programme during the Cold War. Wynne and his Russian source, Oleg Penkovsky (codenamed Ironbark), provided crucial intelligence that ended the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The script jumped out at me. It was such a well-written and gripping piece about a brilliant story that I didn’t know much about.
