Tim (Ed Oxenbould) decides to acquire a sophisticated exchange student from France. Instead, he ends up importing his own worst nightmare. He gets exchange student Stéphane (Avan Jogia). Stephane is a cologne-soaked, chain-smoking, sex-obsessed piece of Eurotrash. But everyone adores him….except Tim.

Based on a true story, the film taps into the nostalgia of growing up in the 1980s small-town Canada.

Release date

The movie will be available in select theatres and digital and on-demand on July 30th.
