Puslinch, ON Alt-Rocker Apricity releases new single “All My Lies”

Apricity is a Scottish-born singer/songwriter.  She immigrated to Canada as a child.

In her formative years, the singer was a pageant show participant, auditioned for Britain’s icon tv show Top of the Pops, and also appeared on kids’ programs like Fun Factory before eventually comfortably settling into the world of musical theatre and attending Corona Stage School in the region of west London.

Her musical influences include female vocalists Garbage’s Shirley Mason, Alanis Morrissette, and Blondie’s Debbie Harry.

Apricity releases new single and music video “All My Lies“.

The three film locations in the video include Milton’s Country Heritage Park, The Lucas Family Homestead and The Mayne Corners United Church

Milton’s Country Heritage Park – a location that recreates rural life in the 19th century in Ontario.

The Lucas Family Homestead – a notoriously haunted building built in the 1830s.

The Mayne Corners United Church – a church built in the 1870s and originally located in Perth County, Ontario.

Set in the 1800s, the video explores the historic buildings and features ghosts, plague doctors, a ballerina and a real life raven.

Apricity describes the video shoot of “All My Lies”

A dream that became reality! I had the pleasure of working with Jesse, Benjamin Gibson & Shannen Frost, who were fun, organized and made it run smoothly even through a few minor hiccups.

It was an amazing experience, hard work but it was sure worth it. Words cannot describe..
