Statement from Craig Cardiff regarding his upcoming album “All This Time Running”

It’s the biggest thing I’ve ever done. It didn’t start out that way. I didn’t have that scope and scale in mind at the beginning. It just kind of grew that way. It was actually kind of a gift.

I never had time to pause like this before. It scared the hell out of me at first. Everything went out the window; we had to rejig and scramble. It was like Mad Max.

It became a positive. We were able to access some players we wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. And the time to sit with the songs and the recordings — that was critical.

When asked about the music video for “Emm & May” Cardiff stated:

The song might be from my brain, but I wanted to capture it from a completely different perspective. The song isn’t about me, it’s about this beautiful, sweet, short love story, so it was important for me to let them — the actors and the director — tell it.
