All Time Running is the new release from Craig Cardiff
Craig Cardiff just released “All This Time Running” ahead of his new album of the same name. “All This Time Running” is the second single from the upcoming album.
The first single “Yellowknife”, has already received a nomination for Canadian Folk Music Award for Single of the Year.
Singer Craig Cardiff grew up in Waterloo, Ontario. He debuted his first album Judy Garland (You’re Never Home) in September 1997.
Since then, he has independently released nearly 25 albums and EPs in as many years, including live recordings, holiday sets, collaborations and tribute discs.
He has played with and opened for artists such as Justin Nozuka, Glen Phillips, Lucy Kaplansky, Dan Bern, Natalia Zukerman, Andy Stochansky, Sarah Harmer, Kathleen Edwards, Blue Rodeo, Gordon Downie, Hawksley Workman, Sarah Slean, Skydiggers, 54-40, and more.
His songs have been streamed more than 100 million times and heard on TV shows like This Is Us.
Statement from Craig Cardiff regarding his upcoming album “All This Time Running”
It’s the biggest thing I’ve ever done. It didn’t start out that way. I didn’t have that scope and scale in mind at the beginning. It just kind of grew that way. It was actually kind of a gift.
I never had time to pause like this before. It scared the hell out of me at first. Everything went out the window; we had to rejig and scramble. It was like Mad Max.
It became a positive. We were able to access some players we wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. And the time to sit with the songs and the recordings — that was critical.
