Canadian R&B Singer-Songwriter Justine Tyrell to release new EP in April 2021
Justine Tyrell new EP will include previously released tracks “Worthy“, “Radar” and “My Name”. Justine’s new EP, “While You Were Sleeping” will be available on April 23, 2021.

“My Name” – Quote from Justine Tyrell
“My Name’” is the song that says, let’s shut out the world – and forget there’s anyone else, but me and you. I wanted the song to feel smooth and intimate in nature – yet hypnotic and full of layers to discover. From the way we produced the vocal, to the way we filtered the start of the song – the soundscape and mood is meant to tease more and more elements as you listen though. I wanted the core of the lyric and attitude, to come from a place of feeling empowered, and confident – while tapping into a sultry mood.
Radar
Her previous single, “Radar” was released on January 22, 2021.

“Radar” – Quote from Justine Tyrell
“Radar” is a song that calls out the past lover who is stuck keeping the door to the past cracked open just enough to never fully let go of what they once had. The stripped down, and intimate mood recounts the one who still keeps an eye on what you’re doing, spectating through social media, asking around and observing– unable to look away. Forever keeping you in their focus – and stuck on their radar.”
Worthy
“Worthy” was available on Friday, October 23rd
“Worthy” – Quote from Justine Tyrell
“Worthy” is about discovering and honouring self-worth in the midst of uncovering a partner’s deceit and dishonesty. I was inspired to create something that can empower the listener to know that it is better to let go of someone, than to lose yourself, and most importantly – that it’s critical to determine your worth, rather than let someone else decide for you. Part personal recounts of toxicity, and people trying to tear down my self-worth, and largely born from being a fly on the wall when people close to me were moving through the seasons of their own relationship
