Marco Dalla Villa releases a remix of Lesley Roy’s “Maps”

Marco Dalla Villa is an Italian DJ and producer. He started playing piano at the age of 4. This later led to studying music theory and composition. He is very passionate about making upbeat dance music.

Statement from Dalla Villa about his music

My aim is to make the people dance and sing on the dance floor or in their car or anywhere, no matter where the song or melody comes from, it can still be brought to the club and performed live as long as it gives the people an emotion. BPM is not important to me, in my gigs, we can dance from 80 to 130 BPM.

In 2020, he moved to London to create singles.

Some of Marco Dalla Villa’s tracks include “Wonderful Days”, “I Drink And I Know Things, “Green Light” and “La Francesita”.

He has already amassed over 500K streams on Spotify and 400K on YouTube.

His latest release is “Maps”

“Maps” is a song by Irish singer-songwriter Lesley Roy. She chose Marco to put his own spin on the song.

Roy will be representing Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the new song.

Several traditional Irish dancers choreographed a dance to the remix, sharing across social media platforms.

Other songs by Lesley Roy include “Story of My Life” and “Gold“.
