The 87 minute film was okay. The story follows Sheriff Justin Wise (Johnathon Schaech), a rugged/tough guy character. He is new in town and moving closer to his beautiful ex-wife and teenage daughter (who desperately wants a phone) in Blue Ridge.
Blue Ridge has a relatively simple storyline with a character murdered relatively early in the film.
It certainly doesn’t help that there’s a rivalry between two powerful families (The Wade’s and the McGrath’s).
Everybody in town is a suspect and the locals don’t trust the small town sheriff.
Sheriff Wise and the two deputies are gathering evidence and interviewing possible suspects. They need to solve the murder pretty quick before chaos erupts.
If you are looking for an easy-going whodunit, you might want to check it out.
The movie will be available on Friday July 9 at 3:00 PM on INSP.
