Amazon Prime Video Utopia is a drama series by author and screenwriter Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl, Sharp Objects).  It focuses on a group of comic fans who meet online and bond over a fictional comic “Utopia.” Together, Becky (Ashleigh LaThrop), Ian (Dan Byrd), Samantha (Jessica Rothe), Wilson Wilson (Desmin Borges) and Grant (Javon “Wanna” Walton) uncover hidden meanings within the pages of “Utopia,”.  It predicts threats to humanity. The high-stakes adventure brings the group face-to-face with the comic’s famed central character, Jessica Hyde (Sasha Lane). Jessica will join them on their mission to save the world while harboring secrets of her own.  Utopia is filled with hidden meanings, shocking twists, and radical evolutions.

The series also stars John Cusack as Dr. Kevin Christie, Rainn Wilson as Dr. Michael Stearns, Farrah Mackenzie as Alice, Christopher Denham as Arby, and Cory Michael Smith as Thomas Christie.

Alongside Gillian Flynn, executive producers include Jessica Rhoades, Sharon Levy, Sharon Hall, Toby Haynes, Karen Wilson, and Dennis Kelly.

Utopia will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories.  It is scheduled to premiere in the US, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, India, and Japan on September 25, 2020, on Prime Video.  There will be 8 episodes.
