A quick chat with Actor Tazito Garcia

Ladies and gentlemen.  Please meet my guest today, my friend, Mr. Tazito Garcia.  When I first met him, he was a Capoeira Instructor.  Tazito Garcia is a Canadian actor based in Toronto. Garcia is a VP & Co-Founder of Movie Expo. City Hall Inductee. 22x Award-winning actor/director known for his intricate HK action.  Tazito Garcia has worked on countless film sets for many years locally and internationally. His background is in acting, directing, and stunt coordination.  He has worked on sets as far west as Hollywood and as far east as Malaysia.   Taz is a huge supporter of an endless list of charities that vary from Sick Kids hospital, Red Cross, and various Cancer treatment facilities, to Jackie Chan’s build a school for a dollar program.  Thank you for taking this interview Tazito Garcia.  Films include The Briefcase, Dead End Movie, First Bust, Battlefield: Divided We Stand.

1. Tell us a little about your background?

I’m a former pro soccer & tennis player, that transitioned into the corporate, teaching world and ended up pursuing my performing passion which is now my career in the entertainment industry.

2. When did you know you wanted to get into the film industry?

At the age of 3.

3. What is your favourite fight scene in a movie and why?

That’s a tough question. It depends on a realistic or entertaining element. The end fight in Drunken Master II with Jackie Chan is up there though.

4. What is your dream role in a movie?

An Indiana Jones type of character

5. Can you tell us more about ‘The Movie Expo’?
