Borgen is coming to Netflix. Some fascinating news over at Netflix. Netflix partners with Denmark’s DR to bring the acclaimed TV series Borgen back to screens. DR is the broadcaster behind several internationally acclaimed hit shows, such as “The Killing”, “The Bridge” and “The Legacy”.

About the show
Borgen is a Danish political drama series from 2010 starring Sidse Babett Knudsen and Birgitte Hjort Sørensen. The story is written by Adam Price.
The show started in 2010 followed by the second season (2011) and third season (2013).
New Borgen Synopsis
In the new series we will again follow Birgitte Nyborg (Sidse Babett Knudsen), her staff, and the media tasked with covering her, this time in her role as Foreign Minister. The show will also follow Katrine Fønsmark’s (Birgitte Hjort Sørensen) journey. After being Birgitte’s head of press for a while, in the new season she is back in journalism where she has landed a job as news director for a large, nationwide television station.
