WandaVision (Disney+ Series)

Wandavision is based on the Marvel Comics characters Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch and Vision.  The series is the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The story is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019). Wanda Maximoff and Vision begin to suspect things are not as they seem as the two live their ideal suburban life. The series consists of nine episodes.

The director and head writer of the series is Matt Shakman.

Cast members

The cast members include Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff), Paul Bettany (Vision), Kathryn Hahn (Agnes), and Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau).  Kat Dennings will reprise her role as Darcy from “Thor” and “Thor: The Dark World,” and Randall Park will reprise his role as Jimmy Woo from “Ant-Man and The Wasp.”

Interesting facts

Elizabeth Olsen character Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch is an Avenger who can harness magic, engage in telepathy and telekinesis. She can also alter reality.

Paul Bettany’s character Vision is an Android and Avenger. It was created using the artificial intelligence J.A.R.V.I.S., Ultron and the Mind Stone.

The filming takes place in Atlanta, Georgia.

The WandaVision Original Soundtrack album producers are Kevin Feige, Matt Shakman and Dave Jordan. The albums for Episodes 1 and 2 will be followed by WandaVision: Episode 3 Original Soundtrack available on January 29, with subsequent albums to follow one week after each episode of the series airs.
