Wild Pacific Rescue will premiere tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT

Wild Pacific Rescue is a new 3 x 60 minute TV documentary series. It is filmed in Vancouver and on British Columbia’s beautiful Pacific Coast. The director of the series is Mike Sheehan.


The White Pine Pictures series gives a behind-the-scenes look at the Vancouver Aquarium’s Marine Mammal Rescue team led by Dr. Marty Haulena. The other team members are Lindsaye Akhurst, Sion Cahoon and Emily Johnson.

The series shows how the MMR team rescues and rehabilitates the most iconic and vulnerable creatures in the sea. Some examples include sea pups, sea lions and sea turtles.

The show also reveals how plastic pollution is threatening British Columbia’s marine life.

The mission of the dedicated team is to save animals and keep them wild. .

The series is produced by Toronto-based White Pine Pictures for Blue Ant Media’s Cottage Life and Love Nature.

Release date

It begins tonight (April 14) at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Cottage Life.

Episodes 2 and 3 will premiere in the same Wednesday night time slot on April 21 and April 28, respectively.
