In DIE HART, Kevin Hart plays a fictionalized version of himself on a quest to land the action-movie role of a lifetime.

Hart gets his wish when a famous director offers him his dream – to be a leading man action star – but there’s a catch. Kevin must first train at the world’s greatest action star school, run by a lunatic (Travolta).

Pushed to his limits by this action school coach and a tough-minded rival student (Nathalie Emmanuel), Kevin must survive a series of hilarious, over-the-top action sequences and face his fears if he wants to achieve his dream. Stream DIE HART July 20 on #Quibi #DIEHART

What On What’s Good Initial Thoughts of Die Hart

Kevin Hart is this summer’s biggest action star? This should be hilarious. I can’t wait.

Express review

Kevin Hart wants to be a leading man in an action film. He is tired of being the sidekick to Dwayne Johnson. After an offer from a well-established director (Jean Reno), Kevin decides to join a Bootcamp run by Ron Wilcox (John Travolta).

Wilcox is apparently responsible for making big action stars like Jackie Chan, Matt Damon, and Chuck Norris.

Wilcox is a little rough around the edges. Some would even call him mad. Kevin struggles throughout the film as expected. Eventually, Hart is joined by a classmate (Nathalie Emmanuel).

It was an amusing short series. I had a fun time watching it. It’s about 90 minutes long. I’m a bit puzzled why it wasn’t a movie though.
