Our goal at Open Screenplay is to make the exclusive world of screenwriting inclusive. For so many aspiring and talented screenwriters, there are no next steps once their screenplay is written simply because they don’t know the right people. Open Screenplay was founded on the belief that quality should matter more than connections, and the world we see depicted in television and film should be as diverse and amazing as the world we live in. At Open Screenplay, we believe your life experiences can make you a powerful storyteller, especially in collaboration with other writers around the world. Our cutting-edge platform breaks down story structure and makes it easier to write compelling stories and screenplays. To further democratize storytelling, we’ve made Open Screenplay free, so everyone can join. We believe we’re better together, which is why we’ve created the first online collaborative community for screenwriters. We also appreciate that writing is personal. So, Open Screenplay lets you decide how much you collaborate. If your screenplay is private, you’re in complete control. If your screenplay is public, everyone gets to vote, so you have real world insights into how people are responding and engaging with your screenplay. Let’s create, write and produce amazing stories together because the world deserves entertainment that speaks to all of us. Welcome to Open Screenplay
